[Swahili_icannwiki] Step by Step Referencing Tutorial

Hi Everyone,

Here is a step by step list for creating a reference in 'visual editor'.

1. Sign into your account
2. Go to the article you wish to edit
3. Click 'edit', not 'edit source'
4. Place your cursor next to the sentence you wish to reference
5. On the toolbar above the article, click 'cite', then click 'basic'
6. Type the title of your reference, then add a period "."
7. Type the date you retrieved the article or reference like this:
Retrieved 18 Jul 2017.
8. Next, highlight the title of the reference you are adding and click the
link button to the left of the 'insert"
9. Copy the URL of your reference
10. In the pop-up paste the copy of your URL
11. Hit 'done'
12. Hit 'insert'
13. *IMPORTANT*: make sure you have created a section for references by
typing 'References', using the drop down menu at the top where it says
"paragraph". Select "Header". This will ensure that all of your reference
work is collective and saved at the bottom.
